Chamomile tea

Planter

Why is it sustainable?

Chamomile tea is a sustainable planter made with chamomile tea waste.

Once dried, chamomile tea bags are mixed with jesmonite, which acts as a binding material. A cork base protects the bottom while preventing scratching.

Besides showcasing an unconventional and sustainable design solution, this piece is a conversation starter that can initiate a discussion around sustainability starting from a shared interest - drinking tea.
More relevant than it may seem, extending the occasions to talk about sustainable design to everyday life gatherings is a precious way to raise awareness of the incredible potential of sustainable design!
