Why is it sustainable?
Marmoleum Real is a natural linoleum flooring.
A sustainable alternative to vinyl, natural linoleum is made of all-natural ingredients: wood powder, limestone dust, rosin (from pine trees) and natural pigments are all mixed with linseed oil and then pressed onto a jute backing to create the linoleum sheet. This composition also makes natural linoleum fully bio-degradable.
This particular flooring is also a CO2 neutral product, because manufacturing is powered by 100% renewable energy and the raw materials are mainly renewable.
