Why is it sustainable?
Navy is a chair made entirely out of recycled aluminium.
First conceived in 1944 to be used in American submarines during World War II, it’s been in production ever since.
Navy chairs are completely handmade following a proprietary 77 steps-process that goes all the way from cutting & bending aluminium sheets to final polishing.
Remarkably, Navy chairs are made welding their components together. No hardware fasteners are used, making each chair a unique aluminium piece.
Trusting the reliability of this making process, Emeco guarantees Navy chairs for a lifetime – 150 years to be precise.
