Tuisku
Blanket

by Bonden
Why is it sustainable?
Tuisku is a blanket made of 42% Finnish lamb wool, 13% natural linen and 45% GOTS certified organic cotton.
Bonden specializes in Finnish lamb wool, a material that – despite its good properties – would otherwise be thrown away. All dying is done with plant-derived pigments.
All Bonden production takes place in Finland and doubles as a way to support local artisans and celebrate traditional Northern craftsmanship.
Multi-functionality is another strong commitment at Bonden. And this also goes in a sustainable direction, widening the use of a given product. For example, this blanket is reversible and its wool and linen sides adapt to changing temperatures over the year.
With a comprehensive view over sustainable development, Bonden has replaced plastic bags with bags made of renewable wood fibre from Finland.
