Why is it sustainable?
Grounded is a limited-edition example of the work of Cloth, a textile studio producing fabrics that are dyed by hand using only bio & botanical waste.
Oak galls, avocado pits, eucalyptus and flowers are some of the ingredients used as dye.
Textiles are also produced with an eye on sustainability, using only fibres that benefit the environment. This means crops that require no irrigation, that regenerate the soil, or those where the entire plant can be used, generating no waste.
The combination of natural cloth and dyes makes the end fabric compostable.
The resulting fabric can be used to make curtains, tablecloths or any other textile for interiors.
